Joel was previously a Research Scientist at Harvey AI, building and evaluating large language models for legal practice, and has worked at Google X and Thomson Reuters Labs. Joel holds a PhD, with research at Stanford’s NLP Group, and has published legal AI benchmarks at ACL, NeurIPS and EMNLP.
